  • Fundamentals of Mat Pilates April 4 7:30-9:30pm

    Are you curious about the foundation of Pilates and how it can support your practice for better balance, stability, flexibility, posture, and more?

    This workshop will break down some of the fundamentals of the Pilates mat practice, including some supine staples, side lying alignment, and prone work to complement your yoga practice.  We will get some good movement in together, but will also workshop the alignment within the exercises to feel the maximum impact of how these exercises are designed to be done!  There will even be a bit of ballet influence, as floor barre and mat Pilates have so much crossover.  Join Ava for this fun and educational immersion!

    CPR Certification valid for 2 years:  American Heart Association CPR and AED Training.
    Course Overview: The American Heart Association CPR and AED Training course is designed to provide participants with the essential skills and knowledge to respond to cardiac emergencies. This comprehensive, hands-on training program teaches life-saving techniques such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Participants will gain the confidence to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations involving adults, children, and infants.

    Key Learning Objectives:

    Basic Life Support (BLS): Learn how to perform high-quality CPR and use an AED for adult, child, and infant victims of cardiac arrest.
    Advanced Techniques: Gain advanced knowledge of resuscitation and emergency care in the ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) courses for healthcare professionals.
    Emergency Response Skills: Develop the ability to assess emergency situations and make informed decisions quickly to save lives.

    Join YOGAqua in King Harbor Marina Redondo Beach for a Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga Workshop for a 2-hour session. The first 45 minutes focus on paddleboard basics and a serene harbor paddle, followed by 75 minutes of yoga on the board. Each board has an individual anchor that is dropped down before the yoga portion of class begins so that you do not drift while focusing on your practice.

    Open to all levels, no prior SUP experience necessary. Must Sign up 48 Hours in Advance contact us for late registration inquiries.

    This will be open to all levels of experience. No prior SUP experience required. Actually, it's ideal for beginners as it will go over everything in more depth. ๐Ÿ˜Š

    What to bring: Swim Suit or yoga clothes, towel, sunscreen, and optional sunglasses. You will get an email a few days prior to your event.

    It is a holistic tool that helps deep relaxation, help people cope with difficulties, help reduce physical pain, relieve emotional stress, and improve overall well being.

    You can experience a number of different things:

    Hot or cold sensations, Itchy or tingling skin or sensation in the body, Intense rush of emotions, Memories resurfacing, Relaxation and falling asleep
